Do Leaders Matter
In the June 2009 issue of the Atlantic magazine Harris Collingwood has an article entitled “Do CEOs Matter? You can read the article at http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200906/steve-jobs . There are some excellent research results reported and some interesting comments in this article. I summarize a few of the items here and extend the discussion with thoughts of my own that students of management should consider.
